Ei-Chan, a bright first-year student named Maruo Eiichirou, suddenly realizes he’s dissatisfied with his sedentary life. Wanting to get more active, his mom hands him a flyer for the local tennis club. Though he’s never played before and isn’t in great shape, Ei-Chan becomes fascinated by the sport. Follow his journey as he uses his intelligence, determination, and strong work ethic to grow as a tennis player.
This manga won the 38th Kodansha Manga Award for Best Shōnen Manga in 2014.
