Kodo Ikusei Senior High School, the setting of Classroom of the Elite, is a top-tier institution with cutting-edge facilities and an almost perfect track record of students advancing to universities or securing jobs. The school offers students complete freedom in their appearance, allowing any hairstyle or personal belongings.
On the surface, Kodo Ikusei seems like an ideal paradise, but in reality, only the highest-performing students receive preferential treatment. The protagonist, Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, ends up in D-class—the school’s dumping ground for those deemed “inferior.” Due to a careless mistake on his entrance exam, Kiyotaka is placed there, where the school openly mocks its lowest-ranked students.
However, his life begins to shift after meeting Suzune Horikita and Kikyo Kushida, two classmates who play key roles in his story. This anime is adapted from the widely acclaimed light novel series of the same name.
