Seirei Gensouki follows the story of two individuals from different worlds. Haruto Amakawa was a young man who passed away before he could reunite with his childhood friend, who vanished five years earlier. Meanwhile, Rio is an orphan living in the slums, consumed by a desire for revenge after witnessing his mother’s murder when he was just five years old.
When Haruto’s memories and personality unexpectedly awaken within Rio’s body, the two souls struggle to reconcile their merged identities. Despite the confusion, Rio—now influenced by Haruto—chooses to embrace life in this unfamiliar world.
With Haruto’s memories comes the awakening of a mysterious “special power,” which could help Rio improve his harsh existence. However, before he can fully grasp his new abilities, he stumbles upon a kidnapping plot involving two princesses from the Bertram Kingdom—the very kingdom where he lives.
This series is a fresh take on the discontinued alternate story *Seirei Gensouki – Konna Sekai de Deaeta Kimi ni*.
