Three years ago, a hero sealed the Hell Gate, but the seal has been weakening over time, allowing monsters to slip through now and then. When a large group of monsters invaded the country through the gate, the need for heroes arose once more.
Touka Scott, a humble radish farmer in the southern town of Cheza, always stayed prepared for monster attacks. He built a hidden pit trap lined with sharp bamboo spikes to defend his village. One day, when a monster attacked, Touka tried to lure it into the trap using freshly roasted bacon—but the creature wasn’t interested.
Just in time, the local hero arrived and saved the village. Hungry after the fight, the hero reached for some bacon but accidentally stumbled into Touka’s trap and died. Now, with the hero gone, Touka has no choice but to step up and protect the region from the monsters himself.
